Ezine Marketing is an oft-recommended spot for
advertising your opportunity, but without some
careful research you can spend a large amount of
money with less than stellar results!
Many ezines will allow you to run a classified
ad for free in exchange for your subscription.
A list of reputable ezines that offer free ads

alternative is to purchase classified
advertising from an ezine advertising co-op.
An important point to remember when you are
writing a classified ad for publication in an
ezine is that your ad will be mixed in with many
other ads. If you are going to make your ad
stand out from the rest, find out if you can use
bold type, or if you can personalize (insert a
first name) or even judicious use of capital
letters. Bear in mind too that a stock
classified ad that has been prepared by the
opportunity you are promoting may have been used
over and over again by other people so will have
lost its "punch". Use your own words -- say
concisely what the best thing is about the
opportunity you are promoting. Whatever reason
prompted you to join will prompt someone else to
also.
Advertising co-ops are a really good way to go,
especially if you want to send out to a wide
diverse audience. There are a number of them
that I feel are quite reputable and who will be
certain to see that your ads are placed many
places. Most of these offer classified ads,
sponsor ads, or solo ads. Classified ads are
the least expensive and solo ads will cost you
the most, since that is your ad alone that is
sent out to a large subscriber list. The nice
thing about this is you are protected from any
type of Spamming, as the ads are being emailed
out to an opt-in subscriber base from various
servers. So your email address and server is
never involved.

ezine advertising I would suggest
Directory of Ezines. The gentleman who runs
this, Charlie Page, is a reputable person and
his site contains a lot of valuable information.
But in closing, I would say to do your
homework. Research the ezines you are
interested in advertising with, and be certain
to advertise in those that are aimed for your
target audience. It doesn't make sense to
advertise for the latest in baby diaper fashions
in an ezine devoted to Business Opportunities.
